1) why do we add salt to the ice?
-To make ice stick together.

2) why do we add the cookies and other things, only after
the milk has frozen slightly?
-Because if we add before milk has frozen
the topping will get freeze too.

3) what are two factors that affect the freezing you think?
-The ice and salt.

4) why do you need a bit of air in the bag?
-Because it will have space to make milk can move and make the air inside cold.

1.Pour milk into the bag and close it
2.Put ice and salt into the bucket to make ice stick together
3.Use test tube rack to push ice get on to the milk bag to get the milk freeze
4.After the milk freeze already then put the topping on it

7.Calculate the density of each of your mineral samples. How could you use the densities to identify the minerals?Ans.Density can be measured with the structure of the minerals. Different minerals will have different density.

8.Would density or color be more useful in identifying a particular mineral? Explain your answer.
Ans.Color because we can identify the mineral by our eye.

Acid rain

Effect of acid rain on plants and trees is Dead or dying trees are a common sight in areas affected by acid rain. Acid rain leaches aluminum from the soil. That aluminum may be harmful to plants as well as animals. Acid rain also removes minerals and nutrients from the soil that trees need to grow. The trees are then less able to absorb sunlight, which makes them weak and less able to withstand freezing temperatures.

The effect of gravity on speed

-put the ramp against the seat of a chair.Place the ramp and chair so that the ramp points towards the hallway.Have your teammate on the other endd of the hallway.
-place the ball bearing at the top of the ramp.
-lift the ramp 20 cm and release the ball bearing
-time how long it takes to travel 5 metres
-see how far it will go
-repeat the experiment three times for each height then do 40 cm, 60 cm and 80 cm
